Born 1953 in Oldham, Lancashire, England, leading architectural artist Brian Clarke has a career characterized by boundless productivity. Renowned for his paintings and architectural designs in stained glass, mosaic and tapestry, his works are acclaimed throughout the world.

Joining forces with many of the preeminent architects of our time, Clarke brings to each project a sympathetic insight, sensitively transforming the structure into an appreciable public art form. From the spirited intricacy of his painting to the assurance of his work with stained glass, he is widely recognized as the catalyst of a new artistic endeavor, harmoniously integrating the fields of architecture and art.

Brian Clarke has collaborated on projects with Sir Norman Foster, Will Alsop, Arata Isozaki, Zaha Hadid, Future Systems, Emilio Ambasz, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
